My name is Belle & this is my blog.
I love my fiancé, Rick, and we love our bulldog, Rigby. Our house, is a home. I like taking photos. I like dressing up. I have the travel bug. I spend most of my money on books, polaroids and diet coke. I really do believe love makes the world go round.
(A new dress here or there helps too.)
Over the weekend, the girls & I had a Sugar Skull party. It was perfect. Everyone looked incredible, and as always, our night was fun, relaxed and happy. Every few months we have a themed occasion at my place (the last one we had was a Fabulous Hats at Brunch, and before that Stepfords), and I think I look more and more forward to them as the months go.
Now to decide what the next theme should be?
On Saturday Morning the girls and I had a fabulous hat brunch. It was called a Fabulous Hat Brunch because you could only attend the brunch if you wore a fabulous hat (I’m all about being fabulous lately).
The food was delicious (duh, it was all breakfast foods…) and everyone looked fabulous in their hats. Even Rigby got in on the fun!
Even though I love planning little days like this, and setting up cute table decor with fresh flowers, and everything I plan always having a “theme” to match, I do have to thank my lovely friends for going along with it and getting as excited as I do. I’m pretty lucky that they love me enough to go and buy fabulous hats because I told them all they weren’t allowed inside if they didn’t.
When we are old and boring and can’t get out of our recliner chairs, at least we can remember back when we were young and recall how fabulous we were every weekend :)
(P.S - I could probably say fabulous a few more times if I wanted but it might be overkill.)
