New Year Resolutions
- Spend more time outside
- Save money for our Wedding
- Cook dinner more often instead of eating so much take away
- Bake something new every time Rick comes home
- Finish my polaroid wall (finally)
- Read books more regularly
- Take more photos of Rick and I together
- Wear my hair down at least once or twice a week instead of my usual top of my head bun
- Try different coloured lipsticks instead of sticking to the same shade
- Take better care of my shoes
- Clean out my wardrobe properly, instead of starting and never finishing so I’ve really only made more mess
- Ride my bike to work, once I’m more confident of course
- Start personal photography projects so that I’m always feeling creative and/or inspired
- No more unnecessary clothing purchases (this is probably going to be the hardest)
- Stop letting my nail polish chip off and leaving it like that for weeks
- Learn how to make pastry, gravy and red velvet cupcakes all perfectly
- Keep the kitchen cupboard and fridge properly stocked like adults
- Sort out the business side of my photography
- Stay positive instead of being negative
- Tell my loved ones how much they mean to me more often
I also have a few New Year Resolutions for Rick, like, closing doors behind him, turning lights off when he leaves a room, filling water bottles up instead of collecting them on his bed side table, and to remove clothes only in the bedroom, instead of left randomly throughout the house.
It’s been a very, very hectic week here at Rigbys house, and I have a few things to blog about, like house guests, Christmas, my birthday, and all sorts of other amazing things. This festive season really has been incredibly, filled with fun and laughter (and many many hangovers) but I am SO ready for 2012, a fresh clean start.
I’ll be back during the week with all of my updates. For now, I am off to the City to celebrate the New Year with a few close friends and my boy - did you know it’s our 5 year Anniversary tomorrow? What a perfect way to start 2012 right?
Have a Happy and Safe New Year family, friends & fellow bloggers.
